Corson Knobby Mats—Corson Rubber Products has been producing high quality safety, sanitation, & anti-fatigue mats for decades. Our special formulated mats are FDA approved and currently in use in hundreds of food processing facilities, dairy operations, bakeries, laboratories, restaurants and bottling companies throughout the United States and around the world.

These compounds are compliant with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration ( FDA ), Title 21, CFR 177.2600 - "Rubber Articles intended for Repeated Use"

Rubber articles intended for repeated use may be safely used in producing, manufacturing, packing, processing, preparing, treating, packaging, transporting, or holding food, subject to all provision of this section 177.2600.

Our mats are used in a variety of processing plants to protect stainless steel pumps, valves and fittings while repairing and cleaning. The mats are also used extensively in restaurant kitchens to protect cooking utensils and equipment after sanitizing.They are washable, reusable and will last for years in your operation.

Some of our mats are produced with a  black "X" cured into one side of the mat. This “X” is a top or bottom designation for the end user of the mat so that the “X” side is consistently up or down, whichever they prefer. Customers tell us that some FDA inspectors prefer this visible designation as a way of demonstrating that the end user has an absolute method for insuring the same side of the mat is always up or down

The patented “knobby” design allows free air flow all around the machine parts and helps prevent bacterial growth and provides a very effective nonskid surface. Mats are best hung using our Knobby Mat Holder which has been specifically designed for use with our Knobby Mats. The Corson Knobby Mats are available in Red, White, Blue, Yellow and Black. We continue to develop new colors and we will customize our mat colors to fit your needs. All of our Knobby Mats (with the exception of the Black mats) are compounded using FDA Section 177.2600, which makes them ideal for use in food processing facilities. All of our Knobby Mats are available in 21”x27”, 18”x25” and 21”x21” sizes.
